Russell Friedenberg has written and directed three feature films, including Among Ravens, an audience-pleaser starring Amy Smart; Ibid, which debuted at SXSW and was nominated for the prestigious Cinevision Award at the Munich International Film Festival; and the recently completed Wind Walkers starring Zane Holtz. Friedenberg’s writing and producing credits include the award-winning documentary Trudell, which premiered at Sundance and played more than 100 festivals worldwide. For ESPN he wrote and produced Out of the Blue: a Film about Life and Football, and for Showtime, First Circle, a feature documentary about the fostercare system in America.
